In a biography steeped in 20+ years of hands-on trade experience, Shane’s hands have never looked cleaner as he spends more of his time in interior design. Shane has a strong repertoire of building and managing bespoke refurbishments and has a thorough and detailed approach in the analytical know- how’s of design elements and how they can be constructed in the real world. Shane has been the man behind many of Lydia Maskiell Interiors award winning projects, throwing himself into all realms of the trades, even having a dual trade under the metaphorical tool belt! Questions (or subdued frustrations) that hovered over his head for years, wondering just how many designers have ever picked up a hammer are now vanquished, as he now has a greater understanding and appreciation for the work behind the plans and knows the exact information required on site.

Shane’s propensity for perfectionism and detail together with his extensive construction and trade knowledge make him the perfect person to workshop ideas on how to bring those brilliant concepts to actual life (and into budget!).

In a parallel universe, Shane may have landed a career as a food critic, archaeologist, or golf simulator designer but alas his skillset has been weaponised for the wonderful world of interiors (unless a client is in pursuant of that golf simulator designer?!).
